This year Steve Clark has organized a ride to Osoyoos.  Here are particulars of the ride:\n\nLeaving Saturday May 16th.  Victoria riders will catch the 8 am ferry from Swarz Bay and Nanaimo riders will catch the 7:45 am ferry from Duke Point and meet up at the pull out on the causeway.\nReturning Monday May 18th or 19th (your choice). Riders will make their own way home or form their own groups for the ride home.\n\n\nThere will be a lunch stop in Hope and then on to Osoyoos via Hwy 3 with a fuel/rest stop in Princeton.\n\n\nThere was a block booking at the Sahara Courtyard Inn but those rooms are now gone. You could contact Garry @\nSahara Courtyard Inn\n(250) 495-7211.\n\n\nto see if there are any rooms available at that hotel or try to find accommodation elsewhere if you didn’t already get a room at the Sahara.\nOn Sunday, May 17 there will be a group ride to Rock Creek and then on to Kelowna for lunch and  a visit to Kelowna HD and/or Conquer Custom Motorcycles before returning to Osoyoos via Penticton.\n\n\n

This is the first time in the 16 years that I have either organized or helped organize this ride that we have had to cancel. We often hit a rainy patch for an hour or two but this looks like it’s calling for rain on the whole trip. Having about 30 bikes on the road could be a safety hazard as well.\nThe hotel has a 24 hr cancellation policy so you are covered there. Anyone that wants to do the ride anyway is welcome to do so.
